Before driving on the public Highway, you need a provisional driving licence you need to be 17 or older. You can apply for your provisional licence up to 3 months before your 17th Birthday so you can take your first lesson on your Birthday. Your provisional Licence can be obtained from the Driving Licence Authortity (DVLA). Obtain an application form (Form D1) from your local Post Office or apply on line to DVLA.
The Theory test must be passed before you can take the Practical Exam. The multiple choice computerised test and Hazard Perception Test require study and we are able to provide practical help to passing this examination.
The Practical Examination is booked with the DSA and we will let you know when we feel that you are ready to take the Test, which can be taken only after tuition in the Training Car.
